Political Animal Press welcome submissions of completed manuscripts as well as book proposals.

Political Animal Press is an independent publisher based in Toronto and Chicago. We produce high-quality physical and electronic books that appeal to both academic and general audiences.

Our small team of editors and book designers give each project detailed and individual attention, from editing to marketing.

Our publishing program concentrates on the humanites, primarily in the areas of political philosophy, politics and political science, philosophy, social criticism, religious studies, and the history of ideas. Our general outlook can be expressed by the Roman adage: humani nihil a me alienum (nothing human is alien to me).
